Meet Glenn:
Dr. Glenn Miles has extensive experience in leading anti-trafficking programs for children in Asia, particularly in Cambodia, Thailand, and India. He has managed research, training, capacity building, and support services for various partner organizations. Dr. Miles has also contributed to the development of resources and documentaries, and has been involved in academic research and advisory roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Childhood Studies and has authored and co-edited several books and chapters on the topic of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Dr. Miles is affiliated with the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and up! International, and his research interests include sexual exploitation, trafficking, longitudinal research, addressing demand, and the impact of pornography on youth.

Dr. Glenn Miles is an esteemed researcher and practitioner with over 30 years of dedicated experience in child health, protection, and exploitation, primarily in Southeast Asia. He has played a pivotal role in founding and leading several international NGOs and projects aimed at combating child abuse and human trafficking. Glenn's work is characterized by his hands-on approach to field research, focusing on vulnerable and exploited populations including street children, transgender individuals, and victims of sexual trafficking.
He has been instrumental in the development of educational resources such as the "Good Touch Bad Touch" flip charts and "Asian Youth Against Porn" materials, which have been widely implemented across Asia and Africa. Dr. Miles is currently a Research Associate at Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and a Senior Researcher with up! International. In addition to his fieldwork, he is an experienced educator, teaching up to PhD level and supervising doctoral candidates in Holistic Child Development.
His notable contributions to the field include his advisory role in the Chab Dai Butterfly Longitudinal Research Project, a decade-long study tracking the recovery and reintegration of trafficking survivors. Dr. Miles is also an active member of several global networks focused on human trafficking, child protection, and holistic child development. His work has been widely published in academic journals and he has co-edited several influential volumes addressing sexual exploitation and trafficking from a faith-based perspective.
