The study investigates online and offline sexual exploitation of boys, young men, and trans/third gender youth and adults in Northern Thailand, highlighting pervasive internet use for child sexual exploitation. It addresses demographics, entrance into sex trade, physical and emotional safety, and support services, emphasizing the unique vulnerabilities and violence faced by these groups.

This paper focuses on the male cohort of survivors in the Butterfly Longitudinal Research Project, which followed 128 trafficking survivors in Cambodia over ten years. It examines their experiences in aftercare, reintegration, and beyond, highlighting patterns of violence, difficulties in work and school, and challenges in forming trusting relationships.

This research provides a situational analysis to assess the current threat of Online Child Sexual Exploitation (OCSE) in Cambodia. It looks at the various forms of OCSE within Cambodian communities, where and how children are at risk, as well as the capacities and gaps in national policy, legislation, criminal justice, social services, and the private sector.
