"Boys Are Like Gold": The Gendered Differences in Sexual Violence Against Street-Involved Children in Southwest Cambodia

This paper explores the gendered differences in sexual violence against street-involved children in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. It finds that while both genders are vulnerable to various forms of violence and exploitation, boys report higher rates of sexual violence and appear to have less supervision and protection from parents and guardians.
